Yesterday, January 9, 2023, was an exciting day as the Walt Disney Travel Company shared some really happy and exciting news. I wanted to share them all here for an easy reference for you.
First up, I have to start with the one I am most excited about it, and that is the return of Happily Ever After! Happily Ever After will be returning to the skies over Magic Kingdom on April 3rd. Enchantment's last night will be April 2nd.
'Epcot Forever' will also be returning to EPCOT on April 3rd as an interim show before a new show debuts later this year.
TRON Lightcycle/Run officially opens on April 4th at Magic Kingdom Park. Are you ready to ride in the digital world, known as the Grid? This roller coaster will be one of the fastest coasters in any Disney theme park in the world.
Walt Disney World News
- Beginning immediately, Overnight self parking is FREE!!! No more parking fees when you stay onsite!
- Beginning in the next few months, with no official date, Annual Passsholders can enter parks after 2pm without park reservations. This excludes Saturday and Sunday at Magic Kingdom and black out dates still apply.
- Also in the next few months, without an official date, attraction photo downloads will be included with your Genie+ purchase. Exact date this will take place is TBA.
- Beginning February 4- Guests will be allowed to park hop starting at 11am.
- Beginning February 4- Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads captured on any Disney PhotoPass available attraction will be complimentary throughout the Disney100 celebration of Disneyland Resort.
